Brett Keith Buell

July 29, 1965 ~ January 31, 2026

Resided in: Fargo, North Dakota

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brett Keith Buell, who left us on January 31, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on July 29, 1965, Brett came into the world in Panama while his parents were stationed in the Canal Zone. He spent his life making memories and cherished connections, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.

Brett was the kind of guy who was always on the move. For 35 years, he proudly worked as a truck driver, covering over three million accident-free miles. He loved nothing more than traveling the country in his truck, and he could tell you every mile marker from coast to coast. He would call his friends to warn about any storms brewing in their neck of the woods. Brett had a deep passion for the outdoors, enjoying fishing, camping, and ever curious about the weather and nature surrounding him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Sandra Buell, his sister, Dorothy Melloy, and her husband, Bill Melloy, along with their children, Justin and Chloe, who reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Each of them holds fond memories of Brett that they will cherish forever.

Brett was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April 2025, just a few months after he and Sandy moved to Fargo to be closer to his work with Valley Express. His battle was fought with the same spirit and determination he carried through life.

Brett, thank you for your love, your laughter, and your unwavering spirit. You may have left this world, but your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.
