Bruce A. Kupperion

Bruce Albert Kupperion, a devoted husband, son, uncle, brother and a cherished member of the Fargo community, passed away at the age of 65 on October 17, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo.

Bruce was born November 13, 1958 to Al and Catherine (Wegh) Kupperion in Dickinson, North Dakota. Bruce graduated from Fargo North High School embarking on a successful career in the grocery industry. Working at various establishments, including Red Owl, Nash Finch, and ultimately retiring from Kraft Heinz in 2022, Bruce’s dedication and hard work were admired by all those who knew him. Bruce met the love of his life, Bonnie Krogen and they were married in April of 1989 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Fargo. They made their home in Fargo where they welcomed their son, Robert on August of 1995.

Bruce had a passion for football, particularly for the Minnesota Vikings and the Bison, never missing a game. He also found joy in traveling to Sedona, Arizona being a special place close to his heart. Every year enjoying vacation with there time share including, California, Virgina, Florida, Missouri, Tennessee, and many other places. Yet, Bruce’s greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones, cherishing every moment with his wife Bonnie and son, Robert, whom he adored dearly.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Robert; brother, Brian (Sun).

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, David.

The family of Bruce wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Sanford West Medical Center, including Dr. Fountain and Dr. Johnson, for their care and support during Bruce’s time of need.

In honor of Bruce, please wear purple and yellow to support his favorite team, the Vikings.
