The family will have a memorial service for Bruce at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior. Bruce Welton Morgan was born to Wayne and Maxine (Wisler) Morgan in Cando, ND on April 12, 1958. He passed away on Thursday September 26, 2019 at the age of 61 years old. Bruce grew up in Cando, ND. In 1978 he moved to Williston, ND to work in the oil fields. In 1987 he moved to Fargo to work as a salesman for Wallwork Ford. The past 30 years he has worked as a dispatcher for Valley Express and Karriers Inc. both of Fargo. Bruce loved to go walleye fishing, golf, he enjoyed the Minnesota Vikings and cooking. He was an excellent cook and was well known for his tacos, fudge pecan pie and Special K bars. He had a kind heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Bruce will be sadly missed and remembered by his family, coworkers and the many friends he made over the years. Bruce maintained a special friendship with Nancy Hagglund-Morgan and her family for many years. With Hospice of the Red River Valley, he was under the loving care of Nancy and their daughter Miranda Morgan when he passed away. Bruce is survived by a son Dustin Morgan (Nicole DeLaunay) Williston, ND, daughters Lindsay Morgan, Richfield, MN, and Miranda Morgan, Fargo, ND; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sisters Marlene (Rodney) Strand, Kalispell, MT, Marilyn (Larry) Holzerland, Mound, MN, Glenda (Roger) Dix, Starkweather, ND, Jill (Jerry) Odermann, Egland, ND, Karolee Goodrich, Woodbury, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Bruce in death are his parents, grandparents, Welton and Mable Morgan; Dwight and Myrtle Wisler, and nephew, Ricky Deadman.

  7. Bruce’s Fudge Pie:

    Deep dish pastry crust placed on a cookie sheet.

    Melt together 1/2 cup butter, 3 Tbls cocoa and 3/4 cup hot water

    Mix together 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup flour and 1/8 tsp salt

    Add this into the liquid mixture 5 ounce evaporated milk and 1 tsp vanilla.

    Mix everything together along with 1 /2 cup pecans.

    Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees.

  8. I will always remember Bruce and my dad, Reed, hanging out and being amazing friends!!! I had many awesome times with him and my dad and will cherish them always. I had an awesome relationship with Bruce and he will be dearly missed!!! Sending the family love and sympathy.

  11. Bruce was brought into this world with a Celebration of birth and life but now we have to say good-bye with the Celebration of his passing. May God Bless all during this time of sorrow and celebration!
