Bruce William Stiles, 77, of Fargo, North Dakota, left us on July 17, 2025, under the compassionate care of Sanford Hospice.

Born on January 13, 1948, to Joseph and Mae Stiles here in Fargo, Bruce led a life filled with love and dedication. After graduating high school, he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Moorhead State.

On August 23, 1968, Bruce married the love of his life, Pam Gillerstein. They shared a wonderful journey together for almost 61 years, filled with laughter and family moments. Bruce spent the last decade enjoying retirement, cherishing time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mae; his sister, Janet Stiles; and his beloved in-laws, Phil and Betty Gillerstein. He leaves behind his loving wife Pam, their daughter Lisa (Chuck) Bierbach, his sister-in-law Kathy (Doug) Morken, brothers-in-law Bill (Jackie) Gillerstein and Jon Gillerstein, and many cherished nieces and nephew. Bruce will be remembered fondly and missed deeply by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sanford Hospice in Bruce’s memory, as they provided exceptional care during his illness. Arrangements have been entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center.

  1. Pam and Lisa. I am so sorry for your loss. If Websters had a picture in the description for the word Gentleman, it would be of Bruce. Everything about him, everything he did, was gentle. Keep the fun times fresh in your minds to help you get through the difficult times. My heart goes out to you both. Love you both.
