Charles E Dohman

Charles Emmett Dohman, 93, born May 20, 1932, died peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND. Growing up, Charles loved roller skating and being with his buddies. He was a very proud Eagle Scout, as well as being very active in the church. Upon graduating, he joined the Air Force. When discharged, he worked for Northwestern Bell for 35 years, retiring in 1990. He did a lot of fishing, golfing, hunting, and just being with family. Charles was always ready to help others and meet his friends for coffee. He enjoyed his yard, working in it, and sitting on his deck.

Surviving him is his wife Ardys of 55 years; daughters Lynda O’Clare, Diane Januscheitis, and Darlene Conley; 5 Grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his mother Gail; and his aunt, Mabel.

Per his request, there will be a private family graveside service at the veterans’ cemetery. To know him was to love him. He will be missed.
