Cynthia Marie (Beard) Kensok

Cynthia Marie (Beard) Kensok, 61, of Fargo, North Dakota, passed away on August 16, 2025, at Sanford ICU in Fargo, accompanied by her loved ones.
Cindy was born on February 29, 1964, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Williston, ND to Richard and Coreen Beard. She graduated from the University of ND – Williston with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and was just a few credits shy of her bachelor’s degree. Cindy built a long career of 27 years at U.S. Bank in Fargo.
Cindy had many creative talents: enjoying crafts such as jewelry-making, sewing, and woodworking. She had a deep love for animals (especially cats) and was most passionate about being the best mother she could be. Cindy will always be remembered for her generous heart, her concern for others, and the love she shared with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Olivia Marie Kensok (Will); her parents, Richard and Coreen (Lund) Beard; her brother, Kevin Beard (Marilee); Nephews, Nathan Beard (Megan) and children; and Brian Beard (Misty).

Cindy’s funeral will be held Thursday, August 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Light of Christ Lutheran Church, 512 17th St. W., Williston, ND 58801. A lunch will be provided at the Church following the funeral. Flowers can be ordered from Country Floral in Williston.

The funeral will be shown on Facebook for those who are not able to travel to Williston.
Cindy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
