Colt’s service will be livestreamed below starting at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Colt Bruce Watters of Fargo, ND passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 unexpectedly in the care of Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus, Rochester, MN.
Born on September 30, 2022, Colt changed and brightened the lives of everyone who loved him and got the chance to meet him. Saturday mornings were Colt’s favorite, laying in bed with mom and dad while watching his favorite cartoon Deepa and Anoop. Colt was full of energy, giggles, and life. He was just about to roll over and had practiced standing so strong with daddy every day. Colt also enjoyed tummy time practice with mom while she read him books. Four months of life and a lifetime of memories, cherished by all. His smile lit up the room and will stay forever in our hearts and memories.
Colt loved to wiggle, kick, talk, and stare at the lights on any ceiling. Colt especially enjoyed his days spent with Grandma Franny and Grandma Jodi while mom and dad were hard at work.
Colt is survived by his parents, Valli and Jacob Watters; grandparents, Bruce and Fran Fjelde; grandparents, Bryan Watters, Jodi Watters; aunts and uncles, Erik Fjelde, Heather Watters; and great grandma, Merry Watters.
Colt was preceded in death by great grandparents, Hutch and Lois Hutchinson; great grandparents, Bruce and Kathleen Fjelde, Janice McIntosh, Douglas McIntosh, Richard Watters; and great uncle, Kenny McIntosh.
Mommy and daddy love you son,
One two, one two….

So, so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you. Many prayers for strength and courage for your future.
We are strangers to each other, but my heart is breaking for you on the devastating loss of your beautiful, sweet baby boy. I’m so very sorry.
So sorry for your loss.
I was just waiting till spring so I could come to Fargo to meet Colt.
Losing a child is the hardest trial to live through, but know that Jesus is holding him in his arms and telling him stories.
My heart ache for you
In just four months, Colt proudly and positively impacted more people than some of us will do so in a lifetime. With just a smile and his beautiful eyes. May angels guide him.
I did not know the family of colt sorry for your loss he is with jesus may god comfort you in this sad time. Dan
My deepest sympathies with your whole family for the loss of your Colty Bear. Words can not express how sorry I was to hear of his passing. You will all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
God’s plan is so unknown and in this instance makes no sense at all. But yet we know to persavere and remember that his love can carry us through anything.
Praying for all of you.
My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.”
I pray this helps carry you through some of the tough days in missing your sweet little baby boy. I am so, so sorry for the unbearable loss of your sweet Colty Bear. Colt was such a beautiful “loved” baby and my heart is just broken for Valli and Jake, friends and family who loved him so, so very much. 💔💙 My sincere sympathy and condolences.
I’m so sorry for your loss, for such small beings’ children can bring so much joy and such devastating sorrow..
Valli , Jake and Family, What a beautiful, beautiful boy you had in Colt. i can’t begin to imagine your loss and grief. you have a wonderful family that will hold each other up during this horrific time.
