Dianne M. Tyge

Dianne Marie Tyge, 64, of Perham MN, passed away on September 8th, 2023, after a fatal auto accident on US-10 and Hwy 60.
Dianne was born on April 13th, 1959, to Walter Nelson Harlow and Betty Louise Solhjem in Fargo ND. After Dianne graduated from Moorhead Senior High School in 1977, she pursued studies in horticulture and beautician hair designs. She pursued studies at Joseph School of Hair Design, Moorhead Technical College, and North Dakota State University. Dianne was a soft-spoken individual who always cared for the well-being of others. She enjoyed the smaller things in life such as finding and sharing great food recipes with others, loving and caring for animals, and growing flowers. She was the founder, owner and operator of Lonesome Dove Boarding Kennel for many years here in Perham. For many years Dianne was the faithfully delivered the Fargo Forum and local paper in the greater Detroit Lakes area. And most recently Dianne was a quality control specialist at Shearer’s Snacks (formerly Barrel of Fun) for approximately nine years.
Soon after high school, Dianne married Michael Tyge in which they raised three handsome sons: Adam, Lucas and Jacob. She loved being a mother and cherished her boys, always guiding them to enjoy the simple things in life as she did. In addition to loving animals and gardening, Dianne was very artistic with crafts and arts.
Dianne was preceded by her father Walter Nelson Harlow and her younger sister Doreen Kae Kukuk by two days. She is survived by her mother Betty Louise Harlow (Perham, MN). Three sons; Adam (Jennifer) Tyge (Detroit Lakes, MN), Lucas Tyge & Jacob Tyge (Perham, MN), Two sisters; Darleen (Johnnie) Griffin (San Diego, CA) and Denise (Mark) Christinson (Cavalier, ND). Beloved Grandchildren; Leighauna and Alex. Cherished nephews & nieces; Ryan, Tiffany, Kenny, Tia, Laura & Lacey. A host of cousins, friends and co-workers who love and will miss her.
Services will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 500 6th Avenue Southwest, Perham, MN 56573 on September 21st at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to local Animal Rescue shelters in Dianne’s honor.

So sad… I am so sorry the family is going through this loss. Diane was truly a beautiful person. We hung out through our high school, and we were a bunch of horse crazy girls!
