Dorothy Flaa

Flaa, Dorothy 2.25.06 Dorothy Helena Flaa, age 95, Pioneer House, Fargo, died on February 24, 2006 while at MeritCare Palliative Care Unit. Dorothy was born on May 9, 1910 in Warren, ND to Henry and Augusta (Lahren) Alber. She grew up and was educated in the Warren-Davenport, ND area. She graduated from Kindred High School. On March 16, 1938 she married Jasper Flaa in Kindred, ND. They farmed in Davenport, ND area. In 1980, they moved to Kindred, ND. They entered Pioneer House, Fargo, ND in 2001. Dorothy was an avid gardener (flowers and vegetables), fine seamstress, a wonderful cook and a great grain hauler. She is preceded in death by her husband: Jasper; an infant brother: Lawrence; sisters: Esther, Marie, and Hazel. She is survived by nephew: Clarence (Shirley) Jermstad, Kindred, ND and niece: Patricia (Frank) Joyce, Horace, ND. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at Kindred Lutheran Church. The Funeral will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2006. Burial will be at Davenport Cemetery following lunch at the church.
