Gregg Olson

Gregg Edwin Olson, age 48, Fargo, ND died on December 1, 2005. Gregg was born on December 9, 1956 in Moline, IL to Harry and Evangeline (Farness) Olson. He grew up in Fargo, ND and graduated from Fargo North High School in 1975. He attended Moler Barber College and worked as a Barber for one year. Gregg married Janet Montplaisir on January 21, 1977 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fargo, ND. He then graduated in broadcasting from Brown Institute in Minneapolis, MN. He worked in various radio stations in Wahpeton, ND, Sioux Falls, SD, and Deadwood, SD. He returned to the Fargo area in 1984 and worked at Lite Rock 105, KQWB, and WDAY. For the last 10 years, Gregg worked as a salesperson and announcer at KVRR-Fox TV. He appreciated great literature and loved good music. He is survived by his children: Trevor Olson, Omaha, NE and Rachael Olson, Fargo, ND; brothers: Brent Olson, St. Mary?s Point, MN, Dana Olson (Chrysa) Shakopee, MN; stepfather: Ed Waldroff, Mound, MN; father: Harry Olson, Jr., Port Charlotte, FL; half-sister: Sarah Olson, Boston, MA; and other close family and friends. He is preceded in deaty by his mother, Evangeline ?Vangie? Waldroff. Visitation: Wednesday, December 7, 2005 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND with a Prayer Service at 7:30 pm. Memorial Service: Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 1:30 pm at Sts.
