Henry Eugene LePard, 73, passed away on October 19, 2024, in Fargo, ND surrounded by his family.

Henry was born February 2, 1951, to Edward Sr and Luella (Seward) LePard. He attended school in Fargo, ND. Henry enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1970. He proudly served his country where he was stationed in Korea. Following discharge, he returned to North Dakota and remained enlisted in the Army Reserve.

On July 26, 1972, Henry was united in marriage to Wanda (Reule) in Las Vegas. They made their home in Fargo, ND and welcomed three children: Lois, Henry Jr, and Zereana.

Henry was employed at the V.A. Hospital for 32 years. He retired as EMMS Supervisor in 2012. He took pride waxing floors at many other side jobs.

Henry enjoyed many things in life: fishing, working on cars, bowling, scrap metaling, road trips, singing and playing guitar, slot machines, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Henry took many under his wing and helped anyone he could. He was quite the handy-man with a zany sense of humor.

Many referred to Henry as such a loving card. He was very proud to be called Hank and Papa.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Henry my adopted Dad, taught me how to wrench on nameless things, which gave me skills to survive later in life. Wanda always had the coffee going and a great hot meal, plus many cooking hints! They took me in and I gained a solid work ethic and a family bond. This is Mike Miller and I truly loved that guy! Thanks Henry and Wanda ❤️

  2. My sympathy to Hank’s family and friends. I knew him from the VA Hospital in Fargo where I too worked…as a ward clerk. He was always friendly.

  3. It was an honor to have known this wonderful man. I remember the first time I met Henry. It was 40 years ago and my family moved into Brookwood Trailer Park right next door to the Lepard’s place. Me and my Ma were having troubles moving our stuff in and Henry without knowing us came and moved our stuff in. That started a long time friendship with the Lepard family. Over those years Henry projected great integrity, honor, yardwork, and most of all love for his family and friends. I’ll miss you Henry.

  4. Auntie wanda, Lois, Junior, and Z I am sorry I couldn’t make it back up there a second time. Just know I love you’ll. Your are in my prayers.🙏❤️

  5. You we’re goofy at times
But you had a heart of gold
    You we’re loved by
    some
But will be missed by everyone.
Hope your up there having fun with the rest of the family.

  6. I love you forever my great uncle, please say hi to everyone up there for me, I miss everyone so so much!
