Jack Jensen

Jack K. Jensen, 74, passed away at home on April 4, 2024.

Jack was born August 22, 1949, to Clarence and Agnes (Lorraine) Jensen in Moorhead, MN. He was raised in Fargo, where he graduated from high school in 1969.

He began working at Steiger Tractor in 1974 and remained there until 2007, working various other jobs until his final retirement. He married Carolyn Bohls in July of 1989, and moved in with his brother Jerry after Carolyn passed away in 2017.

Growing up, Jack spent a lot of time with his brother at their grandparents’ farmstead working on their cars and motorcycles. They also enjoyed spending time on their aunts’ and uncles’ farms.

Jack often wrote to friends and family. He was intrigued by the weather and kept notes of the changing conditions each day. He loved to read, work in his garden, and tinker in the garage to pass time.

After his brother’s health began to fail, Jack became his certified VA caregiver until Jerry’s passing in July of 2023.

Jack is survived by one uncle, one aunt, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Carolyn, and brother Jerry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2024, with visitation at 1:00 PM at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo.

An interment will follow the Celebration of Life at Evergreen Cemetery in Moorhead, MN.
