With a heavy heart, James passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021. James Anthony Huber II (also known as little Jim) was born on July 19, 1994 in Fargo, ND, the son of James and Barbara (Mattson) Huber. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo South High School. He attended North Dakota State School of Science in Fargo where he studied Welding. James started working at Wendy’s when he was 14 years old and continued there for many years. He also worked in Minneapolis at J and W Asphalt before returning to Fargo. James was a kind hearted soul who always cared about others. James was very dedicated to family and friends; he was always there to make you laugh or lend a hand. James was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams: the Fighting Sioux, the Minnesota Wild, the Twins and the Denver Broncos. You could always catch James busting out a dance move wherever he was; he really enjoyed dancing. James would always reply with a, “Oh Yeah” or a “Yeah Buddy”; we are sure going to miss those sayings. James left us too soon, but we all will carry his memories with us. “See you again on the shiny side…. “Yeah Buddy!” James is survived by his father, James “Jim” Huber of Fargo; his mother, Barbara “Barb” Huber of Fargo; his two sisters – Adele (Ray) Dobratz of Fargo; and Angie (Brad) Smith of Fargo; his niece, Capri Smith; and his nephews – Wyatt and Wynston Dobratz and Joseph and Lucas Smith; and his aunt, Mary Jane “MJ” Huber; and many other very dear relatives. James was preceded in death by his grandparents – Martin and Helen Huber, John and Frances Mattson; his uncle, David Huber; and his great-grandparents.

As my 23rd is rolling around I was looking forward to you being the first one when I walk in to work saying “happy birthday bud” all of the fun stuff we would do from our jam sessions, to picking on each other won’t ever leave my memory, I’ll be getting a tattoo for you so that I know you & I still will be close together as we always were. At work I still play your favorite songs on the speaker & all I can think of is you dancing away. I love you brother & oh yeah I’ll be watching Denver Bronco games for you this football season. I miss your laugh, jokes & big smile and hugs when I would be having a bad day we’re just the way to make them better.
