Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Jimmer, was our neighbor for many years and only have great memories of the entire family! My prayers go out to Janet, Kathy, Tom, Jack and Phil, who I think are the family remaining? We always had great times living next door and I never understood how everyone could live in that house together? It wasn’t that BIG? Your parents were saints and I miss them also, We had a great neighborhood and Jim will be missed. Brad Wimmer & the Wimmer family.

  2. My heart goes out to Cathy and her family during this difficult time. We love you Cathy, and we love Jim and who he was and will continue to be by living through all of our hearts. From photos and hearsay, Jim was a phenomenal brother and loved by his many grandkids and great-grandkids. There will always be a Jim-sized gap in your life, but we can honor him and his memory while we are still here to do so. We all offer our deepest sympathies and are sending our strongest healing prayers your way.

  3. Rene Family,
Jimmer and I were the best of friends from infancy to high school. Our dads were drivers for Greyhound Lines. There were many get togethers with the Rene and Grinney families. Janet was my babysitter. Our dads would take the boys on fishing trips to the lakes and many times the families would picnic together.
    Rest in peace, old friend.
    Michael A. Grinney

  4. I had the pleasure of knowing Jim for the past few years as his supervisor at the career academy until his retirement a few months ago. He always had a way of making you feel special in many ways. He will be missed so much. Thank you Jim for all your words of encouragement along the way. Rest in peace my friend.

    Vicky

  5. To all the Rene’S my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I was a neighbor on 4th Ave. I didn’t know Jim that well as older then I was. Knew Feed and Cathy. May your brother RIP.

  6. Jim and my Dad were the best of friends. He also was also was family to us. After our Dad passed away in 2019, he remained in contact with us over the years and check in frequently to see how I was doing. He was a light that will be greatly missed and I find comfort in knowing him and my Dad are together again. My heart goes out to Jim’s family during this difficult time. ❤️

  7. Jim and I went to school at St Anthony’s School in Fargo, Were good friends, almost always together either at our home or his home. I lost touch with Jim when he moved South. Every thing said in the guest book certainly applies to this gentle, caring man. Our condolences go out to “Jimmer’s” family and your loss. He will be missed by many.
