Joshua Michael Holt age-43 Dilworth, MN passed away on May 20, 2025 at home.
Josh was born September 22, 1981 at St Lukes Hospital, Fargo ND to Brian and Janell Walz.
He was a graduate of D-G-F Public Schools in 2000. His education continued for many years in Fiber Optics and Underground construction. He was employed by Cable One of Fargo for 13 years, MVM for 5 years and most recently with Mountain Ltd. He loved his work and become an Engineer Tech.
Josh loved spending time with his three children, Emma, Samantha, and Abe. His granddaughter EverLee Joy was the light of his life. His passions were riding motorcycle and playing music. He loved getting lost in a good tune.
Josh is survived by his parents, Brian and Janell Walz of Glyndon MN; Wife, Tasha; his children, Emma Mosey (Joshua Finseth), EverLee Joy, all of Sabin MN, Samantha and Abraham of Dilworth MN; His brother Joe Walz (wife Jenn, son Weston and daughter Harper) of Crookston MN; grandma, Sharon Holt of Radisson, WI; Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews- all who he loved dearly.
Proceeded in death by his Grandpa, Joe Holt; grandma and grandpa, Ervin and Loretta Walz; grandma and grandpa, Patricia and Bob Hill; aunt, Teresa Thompson; uncle, David Walz; uncle, Tim Holt; Godfather, Bob High.
Visitation will be on May 30,2025 at 1:00 pm with celebration of life at 2:00pm, at Boulger Funeral Home, 123 10 St S Fargo, ND.
Private interment with immediate family on May 31,2025 at Riverside Cemetery in Glyndon, MN.
In honor of Josh’s love for the Minnesota Vikings and the Bison football teams, Please wear your best attire.

So sorry to hear of Josh’s passing! Though I only knew him a short time, He was kind and funny and a nice person to work with when I started at Communication Network Engineering. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
We are so sorry to hear about Josh. He was and will always be a great kid to us! He was so fun to watch grow up. Fly high Josh. You will be so missed.
I worked with Josh at Cable One for many years. I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family and friends.
