Judy Plettl
August 23, 1953 ~ March 5, 2013
Judy passed away on March 5, 2013 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo at the age of 59.
Judy Benz was born on August 23, 1953, the daughter of Harold and Agnes (Reinhardt) Benz in Hazen, ND. She grew up in this area and graduated from Hazen High School. After her graduation, she moved to Bismarck where she received her Nurse’s Aide training at Bismarck Junior College. Judy was united in marriage to Robert Plettl on January 17, 1975 in Hazen. They first made their home in Breckenridge, MN moving to Fargo in 1977. Judy worked for over 19 years at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo.
Judy is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob”; her son, Chad (Cathleen) Plettl; her daughter, Stacy (Travis) Kjelshus; and granddaughters – Madilyn and Lauren; her mother, Agnes Benz; and her brother, Harlan Benz.
Judy was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Benz; and father, Harold Benz.

Judy and Bob lived across from me in Buena Vista for many years. I always enjoyed talking to Judy. She was a very kind and caring person. My deepest sympathy to you Bob and Chad and Stacy.
