Fargo, North Dakota
Kaddi Dell Krause was born on January 22nd, 1976 to Marleen and Leyone Krause. She spent her childhood growing up in Lidgerwood, ND, and stayed around the area after becoming a cosmetologist, spending many years making people feel beautiful and seen in her salon chair. During her final years she lived in Fargo, and enjoyed spending her time going on adventures with her life partner, Uriah.
Kaddi was the most proud mother of two daughters, Baylee and Medora. She cultivated a fun house during their childhood where she encouraged them to use their imaginations and reminded them often that they could do anything they set their minds to. She enjoyed cooking and baking and could often be found crafting up anything lemon poppy seed flavored, always sending pictures of her latest baked goods to her children. She had an incredible sense of imagination, often seeing beauty in things others wouldn’t. She loved her grandchildren, but didn’t prefer to be called “Grandma”, so her Grandson Ridge instead called her “my purple haired granny” she welcomed that title. She loved to play with them, letting them use their imagination, make huge messes, walked them to the park several times a day when she would visit, nothing was out of question when it came to having fun with them. Since she lived a couple hours from them she would facetime, send vidoes & pictures saying “Show this to Ridge & Mara” and send them post cards in the mail often, as a reminder that she was always thinking of them.
Kaddi Dell was one of the most kind and selfless people you would ever meet. She loved others hard and without bounds, beyond any troubles that come in relationships. Kaddi had a unique sense of humor, laughing at all of the oddities of the world and bringing people together. Kaddi had a way of making people feel seen and heard, often connecting with people of special needs and the elderly. She could make anyone laugh or smile. She faced plenty of hardship in her life but she always helped others, even when she couldn’t help herself. She was always rooting for the underdog and wanted the best for people.
Kaddi gave in death as she gave in life; she was an organ donor. Our family is so proud of her, a true hero in every sense of the word.
She will be dearly missed by her family & friends.
