Linda Boechler

Linda passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at her home in Casselton, ND, at the age of 76.

Linda Marie Boechler was born on September 4, 1949, the daughter of Leander and Catherine (Burckhard) Boechler, in Rugby, ND. She grew up in Towner, ND, graduating from Towner High School in 1967. The following year, Linda stayed in Towner while her younger sister finished high school, where she worked at a local law office. After, they joined the rest of their family in Minot, ND, where she began working at the Minot Daily News in Ad Sales and later for I. Keating Furniture. Linda later moved to the Fargo area to be closer to her son, Christopher, while he was in college. Throughout her life, Linda had many interests and hobbies, including bowling and reading. She was a restless soul and always appreciated looking for something new to experience.

Linda is survived by her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Boechler; her sister, Julie (Dave) Steen; her brothers – Wayne (Jenelle) Boechler, Larry (Cindy) Boechler, Todd (Darci) Boechler, Sheldon (Dawn) Boechler, and Kurt Boechler; brother-in-law, Kent Engle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leander and Catherine; her son, Christopher Boechler; and her sisters – Verna Scott and Karen Engle.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
