Linda Marie Eggert passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 19, 2020 in Fargo, N.D.
Linda was born on February 12, 1948 to the proud parents of Rudolph and Pearl Eggert of Davenport, N.D where she helped her four sisters and one brother on the family farm. Linda graduated high school from West Fargo High School in 1966 and worked various jobs throughout the years in the Fargo/Moorhead area. In the late 1980’s, Linda decided to spread her wings and leave the harsh winter climate of North Dakota for the blue waters and warm weather of southern Florida. Linda loved the warm winter weather of Florida but decided that she missed her family more and moved back home to where she has resided to this day. Linda’s current job was at North American Research in Fargo, N.D where she worked doing tele-marketing for several years.
While growing up on the farm, Linda developed a love for all animals, especially stray cats! Linda loved her cats dearly, and her current cats Misty and Pumpkin were her pride and joy!
Whether you knew Linda for one day or 1,000 years, she always made you feel like “family.” Besides “family” and animals, Linda enjoyed listening to music, dancing, playing bingo, and shopping for the best deal in the tri-state area! If there was a bargain to be had, Linda would find it! Above all else, Linda held her family and close friends near to her heart. Linda would be quick to help you out if she could by giving you a ride somewhere, loaning you a few bucks if she could, and would always be there to listen to anything that was going on in your life. Linda’s heart of gold was infectious, along with her great sense of humor and quick wit. If you were lucky enough, you would even get a snort out of her at the end of her laugh!
Preceded in death by her parents, Rudy & Pearl Eggert, her brother Robert, sisters Marilyn (Marvin) Erdman, and Jeanette Miller. Linda is survived by two sisters, Betty Pritchard-Fargo, N.D. Cathy (Bob) Wellman-Brooklyn Park, MN. and brother-in-law Lowell Miller-Ashland, WI. (Jeanette) along with many nieces and nephews.
We will miss Linda dearly and will always cherish the memories she has blessed us with. As Linda would always say: We will see you again, and it will be “Ever so Good!”

I am remembering all the good times we had. As small children and teens at Grandma and Grandpas. I remember the Thanksgiving they let us walk to the Fargo Theater by ourselves. We were so excited. As adults we spent time together and included Margaret Mary and Aunt Mabel. We had some wonderful times. I choose to forget anything sad or bad. Rest in Peace dear cousin you will always be loved and missed.

Will always remember you, me and Jane, hiding from the adults at holiday gatherings at GreatGrandpa and Grandma’s house. Thanks for including the younger cousin. Sorry we lost touch for so many years but so thankful that we got to see each other just a couple years ago.
I will always cherish the summers Linda would come & visit us for a week or two. We had so much fun! Christmas at grandma and grandpa’s with Linda sitting around the big table listening to our silly jokes or just visiting about what was going on in our lives are some of my fondest memories. Rest in Peace Aunt Linda I will miss you!
