Lois Kady

Lois Jean Schuette Kady was born September 3, 1931 to Elsie and Walter Schuette, in Hawarden, IW. She died peacefully in her home September 22, 2025 at the age of 94.

Lois lived in Ireton, IW much of her youth life. In her Teens she moved to Sioux City, IW and attended High school. Lois graduated High school from East High in 1950. Lois met Kenneth Kady (the love of her life) while attending High School. They Married October 19th, 1951.

Lois worked at Sioux City Battery until 1953 when she began her Family of 6 children 1953-1963.

Lois and Ken moved all over Iowa into South Dakota, North Dakota, Arizona and back to ND.

Lois’ many jobs/interest included child care, Insurance Sales, Travel Agent, Office Manager at her Church, painting, knitting and sewing.

Lois is survived by her sister Beverly Lily; her children Kathy (Wes) Berg, Rita Houston, Dawn Boepple, Kenneth Kady Jr., and Teresa (Roy) Gilbertson; 12 grand children; 27 great grand children; and many nieces and nephews.

Lois is proceeded in death by her husband Kenneth and her son Kevin.
