Mark Walter Berginski, age 61, died on December 4th, 2025, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Mark was born on October 2nd, 1964, son of Ronald “Pete” and Joy Berginski in Rolla, ND. He attended St. John public schools and graduated from St. John high school in 1982. A few years later, he moved to Fargo, ND where he worked in the tire industry until he retired. After retirement, he went back and forth from St. John to help with the family farm and Fargo, ND.

He married Dawn Green in February of 1995. They had two beloved children, Tyler and Megan. Mark enjoyed cheering his kids on their many sporting events and later on enjoyed watching his grandson, Hudson. Besides his kids, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, joking around with others, and watching the Chicago Bears.

Mark is survived by his children Tyler Berginski (Kristine Hopfauf), Megan Berginski, two grandchildren Hudson and Asher, Joy, siblings Flo Halley (Neil), Annie Berginski (Mark Ringstad), Alan Berginski (Lisa Miller), Ruth Berginski (Ray Moore), Holly Vasfaret (Jason), Missy Berginski, his aunts and uncles, cousins, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Pete and his grandparents.

Mark loved being a father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His family and friends will continue to cherish the memories he has left.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Mark’s memory to the Sanford Roger Maris Pediatric Cancer Center.

    mark was a great guy, i went to work at fargo tire 1993 and got to know him by installing the tires he sold,
    he kept us busy! He was a great salesman! we both moved on, i opened my own shop and mark would wholesale to me, we traded for last 20 years or until his retirement from bauer. Always very helpful and true. thanks for the great service and advice over the past years mark you are missed.
