Mary Chezick

Mary Katherine Chezick died Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Villa Maria Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Mary was born in Fargo, ND on August 11, 1936 to Clyle and Helen Dwyer. She grew up in Fargo and attended Shanley High School. Mary wed John Chezick on February 4, 1956. They moved to Moorhead, MN to start their family. After raising her children Mary went to work for Polar Liquors. She also, managed Village West Liquors, the Little Brown Jug, and went on to retire from Knight Printing. Mary and John enjoyed going dancing with friends on Saturday nights at the Legion and spending time with family. John passed away in 1999 and Mary spent her remaining years enjoying her family. Mary is survived by her children, Sheryl (Bill) Swanson, Fargo, John (Cindy) Chezick, Champlin, MN, David (Mandy) Chezick, West Fargo, Karen (Don) Hume Jacksonville, FL, and Lisa Chezick, Fargo. Grandchildren, Stephanie (Cavin) Berube, Rachel Swanson, Jennifer and Kayla Chezick, Christine and Samantha Hume, Jaxon and Sawyer Chezick, great grandson Hayes Berube, as well as eight sisters and one brother. Mary was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, and three sisters. The family would like to thank the teams at Villa Maria and Ethos Hospice especially her nurse Allison for the wonderful care Mary received.
