Micheal Brian Lindsey was born October 19,1948 in Fargo, ND, to Theodore and Marzella Lindsey.
Mike passed away April 28, 2025, in Fargo, ND.
Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman, specifically bow hunting, often getting “lost” for long periods while finding new hunting grounds. His favorite was always chasing Mule deer in western ND. He was always known for putting the people with him in the best spot for success.
Mike worked for John Deere at Fargo Implement for more than 30 years in Fargo, starting as a mechanic and working his way up to comptroller for the dealership.
Mike was a Vietnam veteran while serving in the Air Force working on the F-111.
Alongside his wife, Mike was a foster parent for over 40 years, fostering over 100 children, adopting 5 of them.
Mike always seemed to be in his element spending time with his grandchildren, oftentimes teaching them the very things he loved doing most.
Mike is survived by his brother Kevin (Choeng); his bride of 50 years, Beverly; sons, Travis (Kami), John (Anne), Thomas (Jessica) and Willie; grandchildren, Zackary, Krishanna, Gage, Zarrett (Elizabeth), Zaden, Liam, Grayson, and Wyatt; and great grandson, Colter.

Bev and family,
Sorry to hear about your loss. Always remember the good times we had camping and being together playing cards.

On behalf of Michael’s brother Kevin, a close friend of mine, I wish to extend my sincerest condolences to Michael’s family. May the Lord grant Michael eternal life so that he will reunite with his loved ones soon where they will have eternity to experience what we are told in the scriptures; “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard neither has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him.”
[ 1st Corinthians 2:9]
God bless you all,
