Norman Dronen

Norman A. Dronen, 76, Hillsboro, ND passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 near Hillsboro, due to injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born on January 2, 1943 at Sharon, ND to Arthur and Norma (Fuglem) Dronen. He was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. He grew up and attended school in Sharon.
In 1969, he moved to Buxton, ND. He loved working on the farm with his brother-in-law, Dean. In the winters from 1969-1971, Norman worked at American Crystal Sugar in Moorhead, MN. He was a member of the Highland Lutheran Church in Cummings. In 2014, Norman moved to the Kiwanis in Hillsboro where he lived until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sherman and Gene Dronen; sister, Dorothy Skalicky; and nephew, Steve Engel.
He is survived by his twin sister, Narleen (Bill) Engel, Sheridan, WY; sister, Annette (Dean) Tronson, Buxton, ND; one niece; four nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
The visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM with a prayer service following at 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Wildeman-Boulger Funeral Home, Hillsboro. The memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the funeral home, with a visitation one hour prior.
Memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sharon, ND or the Senior Center in Hillsboro.
