Remembering the life of Pablo (Paul) G. Perez Sr. 93, of Fargo, who passed away on August 9th, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at Sanford Palliative Care. Paul was born June 29, 1926 to Jose and Trinidad Perez in Melvin, Texas. Paul worked as a ranch hand and cowboy as a young man. He followed seasonal work to the North, moved to Fargo and found the love of his life on Broadway at the Grand Theater. He married Otilia (Tillie) Navarro on March 31, 1951 at St. Anthony’s of Padua church, where they were lifetime members. The couple made their home and raised their children in Fargo. He became a certified welder through Hanson Trade School and was employed by Fargo Foundry as a professional welder. Paul was a devoted and generous husband, father and grandfather, who was passionate about his family and took an active role in their lives. Paul was a dedicated family man who loved gardening, dancing, fishing, family trips and travel to local casinos. Paul never let his family forget that putting family first and working hard is the key to living a happy and successful life. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Otillia (Tillie), his parents Jose and Trinidad, brothers Pedro, Reynaldo, Francisco: sisters, Maria Luisa, Ramona, Dora, and Eva. Paul is survived by his children: Paul Jr. (Paula) Perez, Arthur (Jill) Perez, Alicia (Gary) Myer, Carlos (Kelly) Perez. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren: Paul Brian (Camille) Perez, Ryan(Heather) Perez, Anna (Mike) Rudnick, Anthony (Samantha) Myer, Carlos Perez II, Ramon Perez, Andrew Myer, Laura (Christopher Klie) Perez, Emily Perez-Johnson: 3 great-grandchildren; Abby and Mason Perez, Kierra Croaker; brothers: Jose Perez Jr., Jesus Perez and sister: Concepcion Constancio. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo, ND. from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua’s Catholic Church, Fargo, ND. at 11:00 am.
