Pamela “Pam” Ann Ellefson peacefully passed away at her home on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on July 8, 1957, in Grand Forks, ND, Pam was a cherished daughter of Dennis “Denny” and Lavonne “Toots” (Fontaine) Ellefson.

A graduate of East Grand Forks Senior High School, Pam embarked on a career as a Claims Processing Specialist at Noridian, where she dedicated over 20 years of exemplary service. In her role, she not only excelled professionally but also cultivated enduring friendships that enriched her life.

Pam found great joy in cooking for her family, always eager to whip up something delicious to share. Her dining table was a gathering place for loved ones, filled with warmth and the aroma of her favorite recipes. She took great pride in her garden, finding solace in the simple act of nurturing seedlings that blossomed into vibrant flowers. Above all, Pam treasured the moments spent with her beloved daughter Brook Ann Gust, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nephews, nieces and dear friends who held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her daughter Brook Ann Gust and her treasured grandchildren: Jasmine Lopez, Reuben Lopez III, Liyah Lopez, Paitience Gonzalez, Shilo Gonzalez, Ashlynn Gonzalez, Tyler Ellefson, Brian Ellefson, and Alex Ellefson. Pam also took great joy in being a great-grandmother to Mikey Ramon and Reuben Lopez IV. Her siblings—Tonna Korsmo, Todd (Catherine) Ellefson, and Kim (Kevin) Christianson—along with nieces Jennifer Berg and Cally Christianson; and nephews Jeremie Swanson, Matthew Korsmo, Kyle Ellefson, Joel Christianson, Daniel Christianson, Ben Christianson, and Will Christianson, will carry her spirit forward.

Pam was preceded in death by her son, Duane “DJ” Ellefson; and her parents, Lavonne “Toots” and Dennis “Denny” Ellefson.

In celebration of Pam’s life and the love she shared, a celebration of her life will take place at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo, ND, Visitation at 1:00pm and her Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025. All who knew and loved Pam are invited to join the family as they remember her kindness, smile, laughter and love she left on their lives.

In addition to flowers, memorials may be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children or the National Kidney Foundation, if desired.
