Raymond Johnson

Raymond Lee Johnson, 63, Fargo, ND passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Essentia Health in Fargo. He was born December 28, 1954 in Underwood, ND to Clarence and Joanne (Yunker) Johnson. Ray grew up in Washburn, ND. He lived in Bismarck for several years before moving to Fargo.
In 1975, he met Maggie Gross at the Activities Center. They were together 20 years before being united in marriage on September 9, 1994. The couple made their home in Fargo.
Ray worked at the food court in West Acres Mall and Repeat Boutique.
Ray loved watching football and was an avid Vikings and Bison fan. He enjoyed spending time with friends. Another one of Ray’s pastimes was shopping. He liked going to stores with Maggie, especially Scheel’s to get his coffee.
He is survived his wife of 24 years, Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Johnson; and sister, Julie Johnson.
Ray will always be in my heart. I loved working with him and loved talking about the Vikings with him.

I really enjoyed working with Ray. He was so caring. He could brighten anyone’s day just with his presence. Prayers for his wife, who is so very kind.
