Richard Herbert Hamman, age 64, who departed this world on May 21, 2025, at Vibra Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota surrounded by family. Born on December 4, 1960, in Akron, Ohio, Richard led a life full of music, love, and joy, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Richard’s journey began in Ohio, where he fostered his passion for music, becoming a gifted drummer and singer. His enthusiasm for music was exemplified by his favorite anthem, “Don’t Stop Believing,” a sentiment that echoed his vibrant spirit. He found joy in building intricate model cars and trains. He also was an avid lover of nature. Richard often found peace watching thunderstorms, mesmerized by the dance of lightning in the sky.
Above all else, Richard valued his marriage to Rebecca and family with the deepest devotion. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca; his sons, Jeremy Hamman and Michael Rowley; and his daughters, Angela, Amy Callie, and Heather, each of whom brought joy and light into his life. Richard also held a special place in his heart for his cherished grandchildren, Haizley and Stella.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; Charles Hamman and June Hamman.
