Roger “Bill” Worth
Bill continued his journey Thursday, August 15th, surrounded by his family at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Bill was born May 23, 1941 in Casper, Wyoming to Eula and Uhlan Reichstein. At age three he was adopted by B. Worth and lived on a cattle ranch in Wheatland, Wyoming. In 1958 he graduated from New Castle, Wyoming high school.
From 1959 – 1968 Bill served in the Air Force stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. Following his service in 1968 he was chief investigator/manager for the Montgomery Ward catalog department covering six states and 200 catalog stores.
In 1969 he joined Morrison Knudsen and in 1970 transferred to the mechanical department at the MSR site in Nekoma, ND where he met his soon to be wife, Cynthia.
On March 24, 1972 he married Cynthia Waltz and in 1974 he started Worth Construction where his first job was the Ember Steakhouse and Lounge in Langdon, ND.
Bill and Cynthia added two children to their family, Emmett in 1982 (Castle Rock, CO) and Carolyn in 1984 (Langdon, ND). In 1993 the family relocated to Fargo where Bill continued his business. In 1994, Bill was the lead engineer for the Cowlitz river dam and hydro-electric power plant in Washington. Worth Construction completed work in 27 of the 50 states.
Throughout the years he developed a love of adventure with his family.
Bill’s passion has always been fishing and he and his son, Emmett, went on many trips over the years. Bill dropped a line in California, Nevada, Alaska, Minnesota, Canada, Colorado and the list goes on.
He and his daughter Carrie loved to climb with summits of Mt. Rainier in Washington, hiking in the shadow of Mt. McKinley in Alaska and ultimately Everest Base Camp at the age of 71.
He and his wife have been married 47 years and loved to cruise the open seas with stops in the Caribbean, Alaska and Europe.
Bill is survived by his wife Cynthia, son Emmett Worth (Elizabeth), daughter Carolyn Endres (Matt), daughter Cherie Taggart (Tim), five grandchildren Felicity and Isla Worth, Ivy and Ella Endres and Corrie Siler (Ronald). He has two great grandchildren Cheyenne and Dalton Siler.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Bill at Boulger Funeral home in Fargo on Thursday, August 22nd. The gathering will start at 6:00PM followed by a sharing of memories at 7:00PM.

Bill was a very honest in many of my remodeling projects. Always will remember his laugh and smile. my condolences to the family.
