Ronald Curtis Wagner

Ronald Curtis Wagner, 62, passed away on March 10, 2026, in Fargo, North Dakota. Ron was born in Minot, North Dakota, on November 13, 1963, to Curtis and Wilma (Schenfisch) Wagner. He grew up on the family farm near Max, North Dakota, and graduated from Max High School in 1982, where he earned All-State honors in basketball.

Ron continued his education at Minot State College and the State College of Science in Wahpeton before beginning a long career working for HVAC and controls companies. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life.

Ron married Molly Berg in 1986, and together they welcomed their son Aaron. In 1997, Ron married Stephanie Kersich, and they were blessed with their son Tyler.

Ron is survived by his sons Aaron (Amanda Zeiger) Wagner of Brownsville, Oregon, and Tyler (Samantha Wiles) Wagner of Fargo; brothers Steven (Natalie) Wagner of Machesney Park, Illinois, and David (Deb) Wagner of Milnor, North Dakota; sister Lynae Wagner of Fargo; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Diane Cottingham; paternal grandparents Deofil and Clara Wagner; and maternal grandparents Herman and Olga Schenfisch.
