Ruth Joy Marinucci, 83, of Moorhead MN, passed away peacefully, May 15, 2024.
Joy was born November 30, 1940 to Edward and Ruth Silver in Chattanooga, TN.
Having grown up in Chisholm, MN on the Iron Range, Joy was proud to call herself a “ranger” and often reminisced about life on the range, her classmates, and lifelong friends.
Other places she’s made dear friends and has called home over the years were Rolette, ND, Fargo, ND, Boy River, MN, Everett, WA, Glyndon, MN, and Moorhead, MN.
She enjoyed curling, cooking, and entertaining, playing organ at church, traveling, and time with family and friends.
Joy is survived by her children, Lauri (Eric), Ed, Toni, and Monte (Jodi); five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth Silver; a granddaughter, Sesarina Schonheit; and grandson, Kevin Mohagen.
A service will be held:
Friday, June 14th

Visitation at 11:30, followed by a service.

My sympathy to all of Joy’s children. I was sad to hear that she had passed. I was a frequent babysitter at your home in north Fargo when you were just little kids. Many good memories of those times. She was such a beautiful lady.
