Sandra ‘Sandi’ June (Kjos) Olund, age 69, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 28th, 2021. Sandi was born on June 21, 1952, to Thomas Kjos and Lois Mougin in New Rockford, ND. She was baptized on October 12th, 1952, at the First Lutheran Church in New Rockford. She graduated from Medina High School in 1971. After high school, she attended Community College where she obtained her Associate Degree in 1972. During her school years Sandi enjoyed Campfire Girls, baton twirling, playing clarinet, and Queen of Hearts. Sandi met the love of her life, Lynn Olund, in 1973 in Detroit Lakes, MN. They were united in marriage on October 25th, 1975, at Trinity Lutheran in Detroit Lakes, MN. They were blessed with their son Jason on December 20, 1975, and daughter Cardell on November 24, 1980. Sandi enjoyed attending their activities. Sandi was blessed with six grandchildren: Becca, Declan, Skyler, Liam, Lydia, Lily, and a little one on the way. She also held a special bond with Patrick and Ashley. Sandi enjoyed working in the food industry, and at one point owned Truckers Inn Restaurant. She was also employed Sunmart, Pepsi, and GPK. Hobbies she enjoyed included softball, bowling, bingo, casino times, Medora, time with friends, playing cards, watching baseball (Braves), football (Vikings), and time with grandchildren. Sandi is survived by her children Jason Olund, Fargo; Cardell (Jim) Biggers, Buffalo, ND; her six grandchildren: Becca, Fargo; Declan, Boston, MA; Skyler Cornell, Moorhead, MN; Liam Olund, Lydia and Lily Biggers all of Buffalo, ND. Bonus grandchildren Patrick Orestad and Ashley Smith of Bozeman, MT. Siblings Craig (Robin) Kjos, Fargo, ND; Norris (Becky) Kjos, New Rockford, ND; Cyndi Kjos, Detroit Lakes, MN; Candice (Ron) Jarrett, Newhall, IA; Jeanine Baker, Provo, UT. Many nephews, nieces, and other beloved family members. Sandi was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Olund, her parents Thomas Kjos and Lois Mougin, her siblings Ordell Kjos, Renae Kjos, and Pam Preminger and an aunt Sylvia Kjos. PRAYER SERVICE: 7:00 PM Monday, August 2nd, 2021, at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Visitation starting at 5:00 PM. FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021, at Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo.   7. Jason and Cardell, I am so sorry for your loss. I will sincerely miss Sandi. We certainly had a blast coming to your house on Super Bowl Sunday. We never could a Super Bowl for the Vikings, however. I am praying for you and the rest of your family.

  8. Jason and Cardell, I am so sorry for the passing of your Mom. Sandi will be missed. In New Rockford we had so many good times together. She was a riot was a riot. (I think her Braves lost to my Twins). I remember the great times we had on Super Bowl Sundays. Unfortunately we could never get a Vikings Victory.
    I will be praying for you and for your entire family tonight,tomorrow and in the days ahead.

  9. Cardell so sorry to hear about your mom. Bowling will not be the same without her there. I will miss her big smile and upbeat attitude. Sorry I cannot be at visitation. My cancer has been keeping me at home. I know you will understand. Again give my condolences to the rest of your family. And a hug for you and Melissa. My thoughts and prayers are with you today.
