Sandra passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at her home in Fargo.

Sandra Faye Peterson was born on October 7, 1948, the daughter of Palmer and Thelma (Hannestad) Peterson in Fargo, ND. She grew up in Fargo and received her education, graduating from Fargo Central High School.

Sandra was united in marriage to Larry Bean on July 31, 1965. They made their home in West Fargo, ND where they raised their family. Larry passed away in 1993. Sandra worked at Northern School Supply in Fargo for 22 years. In 1989, Sandra proudly received her degree in Accounting from Moorhead State University.

After Larry’s passing, she moved to Florida – returning to Minneapolis, MN where she married Hugh Clinton. They made their home in Las Vegas in 2001, and Hugh passed in 2007. She returned to Fargo in 2013 where she has lived there since that time.

Sandra loved playing golf and cards and spending time bowling with different leagues. She was a caregiver at heart and loved taking care of people.

Sandra is survived by her three children – Tracey (Greg) Randall of Las Vegas, NV; Tammy (Damin) Barnier of Annandale, MN; and Trenton (Heather) Bean of Farmington, MN; her 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Gary Peterson of Fargo.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Peterson; her parents; and her husbands – Hugh and Larry.

  1. Aunt Sandy was the kind of person that lit up every room she walked into. Always ready with a big smile and hug, her joy was contagious. Her visits to see us at the lake cabin will be missed. I will stock my fridge with Pepsi every summer in her memory.
