Sandra was born and grew up in Litchfield, MN. After marrying David Carpenter in 1954 they moved to Moorhead MN where the children were raised. She lived her life to the fullest. She loved traveling in her RV and had done so until this past year where she moved back to Fargo to be around her family.
We, Sandra’s friends from the RV group Loners on Wheels wish to extend our sympathy to her family. She was a lovely lady and an inspriation
Mom was an inspiration for me. She was one of the most decent persons that I have ever known. I didn’t know her during her RV years, but it seems like she had some great adventures.
When I was growing up we took walks early in the morning and gathered mushrooms, and cooked them up when we got home. She had a great attitude about food, and nature.
Her sweet soul seemed to add to the world, while so many are selfish, she was aware of the balance that needs to happen for a sustainable life.
I will miss our conversations Mom.
Your son,
Jim
My deepest condolences to you all. Aunt Sandy had such a calming nature to her, she was always so relaxed. We had several conversations on life and she always gave me such confidence with so few words. I will always remember her free spirited nature. I lost contact with her after my Dad passed and on several occasions try to find her. The last time I saw her was at our wedding, I was so happy she was there and we had a lot of fun!. I did a search for her today and found this obit. Again, my deepest condolences.
