Sharlene Marie Laducer Trove left to be with the Lord on May 29, 2025.

Sharlene was born on August 10, 1960, to Clifford and Marla Laducer in Belcourt, ND, where she grew up. Sharlene loved to tell her husband and their children how she would have to help her dad early in the mornings with their cattle and help take care of the horses; she even raised her own sheep, which she dearly loved. Sharlene loved being outdoors and would tell stories about how she and her sister Donna would spend the whole day outside picking berries, building forts, climbing trees, and such.

Sharlene started her education at St. Ann’s Catholic School in Belcourt, she then attended Turtle Mountain Community High School where she graduated. She later earned her bachelor’s degree in Science from MSUM in 2002. Sharlene was united in marriage to Ted Trove on March 15, 1996, in Fargo, ND where they have resided ever since. Sharlene and Ted raised three children together: Misty, Victor, and Isaiah, as well as granddaughter Elizebeth, and great-grandson Elias. Sharlene worked for CSD in Moorhead MN for nearly seventeen years, a job she truly loved.

Sharlene truly loved to read her Bible and really loved her Lord, Jesus Christ. She loved people and helped them in any way she could. She spent many hours in her flower garden, and loved canning. Sharlene also loved to read and spend time with her family. She will truly be missed and may God receive her with open arms. Sharlene had many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will surely miss her.

Sharlene is survived by her husband, Ted Trove; daughter, Misty; sons, Isaiah and Victor; granddaughter, Elizebeth; great-grandson, Elias; sister, Sandra Goodbird of Rollette, ND, Donna (Jerry Zwetow) of Fargo, ND; brother, James C. Laducer of Belcourt, ND.

Sharlene was preceded in death by her parents, James Clifford Laducer and Marla Fox; son, Nathan Lafromboise; and sister, Shirley Spitzer.

  1. I love you sooo much Auntie ❤️🙏❤️ I’ll always cherish our time we got to spend together ❤️

  2. I worked with Shar at CSD for many years. She was always friendly (but not over friendly) and very good at what she did. Sending prayers and hugs to her family and friends

  3. Our prayer for the surviving family of Shar, that the Lord would give you comfort during this time of loss, We know that her journey these past months has been a difficult one for her, but we have been blessed by her beautiful testimony in spite of her great suffering. That she is now free and at peace with the Lord gives us great joy. Those who know Jesus as she did will join her one day in great celebration.

    Glen and Gail Bjornstad

  4. Shar was so good at organizing things. Whenever we had an event at work, she would be the one to get the decorations for it. She did a beautiful job.
    She will be missed.

  5. I was the manager and worked with Shar at CSD. She was well liked by her coworkers and was always willing to jump in and help when needed. She was so friendly to everyone and the first one to stand up to show support if she felt someone wasn’t being treated fairly. I can’t tell you how many times she was in my office to clarify a process or procedure to make sure she was providing the best service to our customers. I have many fond memories of Shar and will miss her and that beautiful smile dearly. My sincere condolences to her loved ones.
