Sharon Johnson

Sharon Johnson (Bahm), 75, passed away peacefully December 19, 2020 at Oak Crossing Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Sharon was born November 19, 1945 to Hulda (Amundson) and Henry Bahm in Mandan. She was raised in Flasher before moving to Bismarck to complete her R.N. at Bismarck School of Nursing. She later moved to Fargo where she worked at the VA Hospital and married Gerald Johnson. They had one son, Brian, and lived in Kindred until her husband’s death. Sharon moved to Detroit Lakes a few years ago to be close to her son and his family. The last two years she has resided at Oak Crossing Nursing Home, where she received wonderful care and made many new memories. Sharon enjoyed camping, playing cards and visiting with friends and relatives, especially her grandchildren. We will all miss her infectious laugh. Sharon is survived by her son Brian (Lisa) Johnson, three grandchildren Kallan and Spencer Skarie and Henry Johnson, sister Jean (Joe) Urness and numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Glen, Tyke and Charles, sister Faye Oster, sisters-in-law Donna Bahm and Ione Bahm, brother-in-law Dick Oster.
