Tom Froemke, age 76, of West Fargo, North Dakota, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, at his home away from home, HIA, Heathers Hospice house, Fargo, ND.
Born on June 22, 1949, in Lisbon, ND, Tom was the son of Milton and Laura Froemke. He was raised in Lisbon, where he developed a deep love for the land, the open road, and the freedom that came with both. Tom farmed for many years, which included crop spraying. He had a passion for fast cars and the thrill of the drive—his love of speed was matched only by his love of his wife, daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Tom married the love of his life, Kimberly Butts, and together they built a beautiful life. He had one daughter, Melissa, born in March of 1974, which he was very proud of.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Froemke; his daughter, Melissa Aspelund, and son-in-law, Derek Aspelund; his brother, Ron Froemke, and sister-in-law, Stephanie; four grandchildren: Darika Hoerth, (Chris) Fargo, ND; Deserae Myers, (Matt) Mapleton ND, Dawson Lemna, Fargo, ND; and Maverick Sandvig, Nome, ND; and two great-grandchildren: Asher Myers and Callum Hoerth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Laura.
Tom will be remembered for his fierce spirit and the unmistakable roar of his engine down a country road. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
My sympathy goes to Melissa Toms daughter and his wife, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and all family.

My sincere condolences to Tom’s family. Any time I drove highway 27 I knew Tom had been there because of his signature burnouts.
