Tina Marie Pelkey (Rodriguez) was born April 25th, 1968. She died at home surrounded by her family on September 12th, 2025.
She was born in Grafton, ND to Florentino Rodriguez and Bonita Deschamp. However, Fargo quickly became her home.
Tina was loved by all that knew her. She was readily labeled “Mom” by all of her children’s friends. Her warm and loving demeanor truly made everyone around her feel like family. However, her grandchildren held the most special place in her heart.
But what came second was her love of the NDSU Bison. She never missed a game, and she was rarely seen without green and yellow!
She also enjoyed traveling around the world. One of her favorite places being Nashville, TN and the Grand Ole Opry.
She was a loving wife to Mickey Pelkey, a wonderful mother to Joel and Mary Rodriguez and a remarkable grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Mickey Pelkey, her children, Joel and MariLynn Rodriguez, grandchildren, Mia and Hannah Stautz, Mason, Mariah, and Aaliyah Rodriguez, her mother, Bonita Deschamp, her siblings, Patrick, Pauline, Tino, Francesca and Felicia Rodriguez.
She is proceeded in death by her father, Florentino Rodriguez.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 1:00PM at First Lutheran Church of Fargo (619 Broadway North, Fargo, 58102).
I admired and loved her.
I sure will miss her.

My sister you are truly loved .I’m praying you seen the turnout at your celebration of life service..It’s so amazing the lives you touched,the love you gave it seemed as a flowing river..I’m missing you and just thinking about our lives together and we had good times as a family ,crazy memories and shenanigans were always there..Until we see each other again I love you..
