Predeceased by his sister, Delphia Dobson; brothers, Jack Davidson, Floyd Garner, Michael McMormick, Billy Garner; his wife Lisa Ann Scarber, Monroe, of North Carolina.

He is survived by his children, William Mangalaw (Mary) of Wahpeton, North Dakota, Maryann Marohl (Mitch) Menomonie, Wisconsin, Jan Scarber Perry of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Jason Scarber (Christine) of North Kingstown, Rhode Island; grandchildren, Francis, Brandon, Austin, Caitlin, Gabriel Perry of Orlando, Florida, Kenneth Perry of Summerville, South Carolina, Ryan and Shawn Scarber, Jasmine Scarber, Jacylynn Sherman, Jacob Scarber; brothers, Benny Garner (Janet), Tamra Dolin of Du Quion, Illinois; and significant other, Margarita Sutter of Wahpeton, North Dakota.
