  1. Sheryl and Norm Hillberg says:

    Dear Hansen Family,
We are sorry to hear of Willard’s passing. We spent a couple weekends with Aunt Vera and Willard at Kenneth’s house going over old photos and memories. We had a good time together.

  2. Very sorry for your loss of brother and cousin Willy. He lived near me in Minneapolis with his Mom and a dog named Bear if I remember correctly. This was early 2000s. Bear was big and I was always scared of him. I think Willy enjoyed that 🤣 one time I came home from work to find a 7 foot tall stuffed animal tied to my bird feeder! I will never forget that! He was a character and will be missed.

  3. I got to know cousin Willard as an adult, at reunions my dad, Raymond, would host at the schoolhouse. Those were good times, back in the 90’s. In particular, I remember 1 each motorcycle ride with Willy, suffice it to say, WOW! My heart goes out to the Hansen family, your brother will be missed greatly.

  4. My prayers and thoughts are with the Hanson/ Hillberg family.
    RIP Will 🙏🏻

  5. My prayers and thoughts are with the Hansen / Hillberg family.

  6. Delbert & Yevette (Hillberg) Haskell
Visited with Vera & Willard when they lived in Peever. It was always a highlight of our Sisseton visits. Once they moved to MN we would get phone calls periodically. Was always good to c vs watch up with Willy. Condolences to the Hansen family & friends of Willard’s. Our cousin pool is dwindling!! ❤️

  7. Rick Hagen Spring Valley says:

Willard was kind enough to let me live with him in Arizona and, Las Vegas. Willy was an introvert and easily the smartest person I have ever known.
My sister was with him a long time. Willy was recruited by the top Harley Davidson dealers in the nation. Harley D in Milwaukee offered him a good job at the Mother Ship. Needless to say he was not allowed to go. To big of a city I guess?
I am absolutely saddened that there is no service, or memorial for one of the greatest people I have ever met. Hello Dave, and Eva! I will have a service for him. I contacted the VA.
    I love you Brother!!!!
See Ya On The Other Side!
    Rick Hagen
