Guestbook

  1. Farewell Auntie Marie. You were the best Aunt to me and the rest of my family. You were like our second mother, always on our sides and loving us no matter what. Always in our corner. And nobody could say my nickname better then you! You will be truly missed and I will always treasure the many memories over the years when our families gathered for birthday parties, holiday dinners or the just for “fun” dinners at our homes or at the West Fargo VFW, Club 94 and in later years at Speedway. And of course who could forget the occasional bingo playing! Many fun times where had by all. Now you are at peace and pain free, up in heaven with the rest of our family. I am sure there is one big party going on in heaven maybe you guys are even playing a little bingo. 🙂 I find comfort in that and knowing that you are all smiling down on us.
God speed Auntie. I love you now and forever.
Your niece, Eileen (a.k.a.) Inzie Pintsy

  2. Debbie and Laurie, my deepest sympathies in the passing of your Mom. I remember being at her and your Dad”s wedding as a little kid. Then you girls came along and we enjoyed many times getting together at Uncle Harry and Aunt Irene’s home and at my Mom and Dad’s as well. Your parents always made Bob and I feel welcome. My Dad passed away at the age of 92, Grandpa Daschner at age 85 and Grandma Daschner at age 91. I have to think it was the Daschner and Thamsten genes that Harry, Delores and your Mom possessed. I will try to be at the funeral and hopefully I can get someone to take care of Easton so I don’t have to bring him. My love and prayers go out to your during this difficult time. God Bless.

  3. I am so sorry Laurie. Your Mom was a wonderful lady and you were such a good daughter to her. She is no longer hurting; most likely Matthew was waiting for her with open arms!
    XO Noonie

  4. I am deeply saddened for the loss of such a beautiful person. May you all find comfort in your memories of her.

  5. Deborah and Laurie,
My thoughts and prayers are with you for the loss of your mother.
Marie was a good friend and I miss her.
    May God bless Marie.
May God bless you girls and your families.

  6. Debbie and Laurie,
May the comfort and support of loved ones give you strength at this difficult time. I lost my Mom last year, and it’s still tough. All the good memories are part of the healing…Debbi

  7. Deborah and Laurie, we were sorry to hear of the recent passing of Marie. it was always such a pleasure to visit with her as she so reminded me of my mother. She was a great lady and sometimes “tough as can be”. I loved that about her. As you may or not know your father Dez was one of the most favorite people I have met in my life time. I so enjoyed working with Dez at Cook Sign Company. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Bernie Dardis.

  8. Laurie,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

Your mom was such a friendly and kind person.

I’m sure you have many wonderful memories.
