Joe was the kind of person who changed lives. Joe being a person of recovery for the many years that he was, set a huge example for a lot of people who were trying to find their way, including me. I learned a lot about life simply by watching Joe, and most of all, I learned how to enjoy life again, by his example. I am very grateful for the part he played in not only my life, but my husband’s life as well. Joe guiding him into the person that he is today, and in my husband’s words, Joe ‘saved his life in 95′, and many times after’.

To Amber, Michelle, Amy, Angela, Joey, Jacob and all the others who loved Joe,

He was a very special person, and he has a special place in my heart. Hold on tight to each other in the months to come, and cling to the many many memories. I love you all.

    Joe’s Family~
Joe was a part of our group in Wahpeton years ago. He made the best hot eggs for the Vikings games at Sportsman’s Lounge. We shared many laughs and good times. I was glad I got to see Joe and visit with him a few times while we were both living in Fergus Falls. Prayers are going up that God wraps his loving arms around you & brings you comfort.

    RIP, Joe…
