Charlie-Rose Poitra

charlie-rose poitra
Charlie-Rose Jerrilyn Jean Poitra passed away Monday – May 22, 2017. Charlie-Rose was born October 10, 2014 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND. Little Charlie had rough patches beginning at birth, but fought through many battles and surprised everyone by overcoming medical obstacles to become a laughing, running, loving, bright 2-year old angel. She was full of happiness and always knew what she wanted and had a way of making sure you knew it by the wave of her finger. Just by seeing her would make your day. Charlie was raised in Fargo, ND and was about to attend Head Start. She loved seeing the special people in her life everyday, especially her Mama, Nana Mary, Papa Jerry and Leek. Charlie had a heart filled with joy and was a very bright and caring little girl. She will forever be our “twinkle, twinkle little star”. Charlie-Rose is survived by her mother, Michele-Ann Poitra, father Jean Matembera, grandparents; Mary R. Poitra, Jerry and Michelle Rose, Kabami Bonyana, all of Fargo, ND, great grandmother Christine Rose, Magnolia, AR, Uncles and Aunts John Cody Poitra, Rochanda and Ariana-Lei Poitra, Fanny, Patrick, Alex, Chris and Nickson Matembera, Lisa Roscoe, Lacy and Logan (Shana) Onstad all of Fargo, ND and Lakendyra Cooper of Magnolia, AR. Cousins Kane Shelabarger, Taylor Roscoe, Haylee and Brody Onstad and special Aunty Melinda Azure and Godmother Ashley Zaleski. Charlie-Rose was preceded in death by great grandparents Emma and Elmer Poitra and John Rose. A very special thank you to the Dekeyser family for their love and support of Charlie-Rose.
