LaVonne Leno

LaVonne Leno, 58, Page, North Dakota, passed away on June 6, 2019 in Moorhead Minnesota surrounded by loved ones. LaVonne was born December 15, 1960 in Belcourt, the daughter of Helen and Steven Charette. She was raised in Belcourt where she attended Turtle Mountain School. She graduated from Circle of Nations School in Wahpeton, ND. LaVonne spend most of her life in Driscoll, ND, where she raised her family. LaVonne was dedicated mother, who spent most of her life working on the farm. She loved to spend time camping, gardening, antiquing, or any other activities that involved her family. LaVonne was well known for her love of animals, whether it was spending time with her dogs, Sweetie, Bandit, and Pesty, or visiting the zoo. LaVonne is survived by her children, Don (Casey) Charette, Moorhead, MN, Waylon Charette, Jamestown, ND, Wayne (Trinity) Charette, Rolette, ND, Nicole (Dan) Napoleon, ND, Shanna (Casey) Bosch, Bismarck, ND, Sheena (Thomas) Mittleider, Tappen, ND, and Jacob Leno, Driscoll, ND; 5 grandsons, 13 granddaughters; siblings, Carla Falcon, Belcourt, ND, Loretta Enockson, Sterling, ND, Linda Boom, Bismarck, ND, Ronnie Charette, Russ Charette, Carl Charette, all of Belcourt, ND, and Jeff Charette, Fargo, ND. She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Steven Charette, brothers Steven Charette, Jr., and Terry Charette, sister, Beverly Charette, and the father of her children, Ronald Leno.
