David S. Keller

David S. Keller 57 of Fargo ND passed away on May 7, 2015 at a Fargo hospital. David was born November 28, 1957 in Turtle Lake, ND to Benjamin and Anna Keller. He grew up on the family farm south of Benedict ND. He graduated from Turtle Lake-Mercer high school in 1976. David attended Bismarck Junior College and Minot State College and played football at both. He moved to California and worked various jobs for several years. He returned to ND a few years ago and has made his home in Fargo. David was everyone's friend and would carry on a conversation with everyone he met. Dave was an avid sports fan and enthusiastically followed the local college teams. David is survived by his brother Mark Keller of Minot, nephew Joseph Keller, Salt Lake City, Utah and special friends: Phyllis Harmon, Minot, Conrad Olson Turtle Lake, and Tim And Kathie Eslinger of Minot. David was preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother Ann Keller (Lushenko). A private family service will be held at a later date.

Dave was a very close friend of mine
We competed in sports against each other and played on the same team in Minot
Even though it’s been over 30 years since we have seen each other the brotherhood of a teammate has always been there

I remember dave as being such a nice man. He was a gentile and kind man. He was also a great athlete, probably one of the true strong athletes of all time. jim knutson
