Aaron John Hill, 38 years old of Jamestown ND, passed away on June 10, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND after a brief illness. Aaron was born on September 22, 1980 in Jamestown ND. He is the son of Marjorie Baumgartner-Hill and Robert Hill who reside in West Fargo, ND. Aaron graduated from Grand Forks Central High School and has lived most recently lived in Jamestown, ND. Aaron has worked in the services industry. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Jamestown, ND. He enjoyed movies, gaming, outdoor activities, hockey, and writing stories. He mostly enjoyed spending time with family and interacting with his nieces and nephews. Aaron was a favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews; they enjoyed his ready laugh, his playful nature, and his willingness to hang out with them and play games. Aaron was willing to help those in need; he liked his space organized and neat. Aaron was the youngest of five siblings who loved him dearly. . Aaron is survived by his parents Marjorie and Bob Hill, his birth mother Kathleen Ebert of Jamestown, ND, his grandmother Ruth M Hill of Grand Forks, ND, his sister Andrea her husband Kris DiTommaso ( Kamille, Aiden and Ayla) of Mt. Zion, Illinois, his brother Thomas Hill (Kaden) of West Fargo, ND, his sister Karen Hill of New Port Beach California, his brother Robert Hill (Morgan Hill) of West Fargo , ND. He is survived by the following Uncles, Aunts, and first cousins; Mary Susan Baumgartner of Fargo, ND, Ellen and James Baumgartner of St. Cloud MN ( James and his wife Heather, Joel and his wife Debbie, Jennifer and her husband Kris Howe ), Richard Baumgartner of Pollack S.D. (Tosha and her husband Kyle Nieuwsma, Travis, and Tracy), Thomas and Laura Baumgartner of Pollack S.D. (Thomas Baumgartner Jr. and his wife Jessica, Kristen and her husband Keenyn Borr) , first cousins John Baumgartner IV and his wife Laurie, and William Baumgartner and his wife Danielle of Bismarck ND., William Hill of Fargo, ND (daughters Erin and Georgia), Richard Hill and his wife Elsie of Grand Forks, ND, ( Brent and his wife Stephania, Paul and his wife Yelena, Michael, Patrick), James Hill and his wife Charlotte of Bismarck ND (Sarah), Thomas Hill and his wife Kathleen of Grand Forks, ND ( children Andy Hill and his wife Rachel, Katie and her husband Max Gallant), Stephen Hill and his wife Jane of West Fargo, ND ( Emily and Beatrice), Ruth and her husband Anthony Malaktaris of Bismarck, ND, (Elizabeth and her husband Joseph Wallis, Anne and her husband Brad Sobon, Caroline and her husband Ross Moser, and Kathryn), Timothy Hill and his wife Angela of Kindred, ND (Spencer and Ava), Diane Hartman ( Georgia and her husband Chase Brandau , Erin and her husband Tim Phelan), Donald Braun and his wife Zita of Valley City, ND (Paul, Benjamin, and, Joshua,), Mirakhel Windsong of Gallup, NM. (Tamarie Sayger and Taresa Neale), Myron Braun and his wife Zita of Burnsville, MN (Alex, Kristen and Justin), Daryl Braun and Julie of Jamestown, ND (Brandon, Jeff, and Michelle), Reverend Father Gerard Braun Pastor of St. Michaels Parish Grand Forks, ND. Aaron was preceded in death by his Grandparents John and Margaret Baumgartner, R. William Hill, Teresa and Herman Braun. He was also preceded in death by his Uncle John and Donna Baumgartner. A funeral Mass is scheduled on Saturday June 15, 2019 at 9 am Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo; visitation will be held from 8-9 am at the Church. The Reverend Father Gerard Braun (uncle of Aaron) will officiate. Holy Cross Catholic Church is located at 2711 7th Street East in West Fargo, ND. Aaron will be interned in a columbarium at Holy Cross South Cemetery later. We are most grateful to Rev. Father Chinnaiah Konka of Holy Cross Catholic Church and Rev. Father Braun of St. Michaels Catholic Church for providing the Sacrament of the Sick and for anointing Aaron in the hospital. We are also grateful to the doctors and nurses at Sanford Hospital who gave Aaron excellent care. We are thankful for our family and friends who have supported all of us in prayer, words of comfort, acts of kindness and generosity during this time.

    Kathy, Alex and I were so sad to hear of Aaron’s passing. We know how close you are as siblings and a family and how much this loss must hurt.

    I have many fond memories of Aaron as a young lad playing, laughing, losing teeth and enjoying life…. and always poking fun at this siblings to get attention and not just be the youngest of the brood that didn’t get his deserved attention! 🙂 I am sure you are recalling many great memories of your son and brother and I pray they provide comfort and laughter between the tears.
