Adeline Ahmann

Adeline Ahmann was born September 29, 1921 in Britton, SD to Joseph Frank Ahmann and Theresa (Trautner) Ahmann. Graduated from Lidgerwood High School and attended VSTC for 2 years obtaining a teaching certificate. She taught 1st year at Lidgerwood and the 2nd year at Milnor. She moved to Fargo in 1957 and worked at various offices in Fargo and eventually came to work at the City of Fargo Health Department. She was there 10 years and retired in 1986. She worked part-time after retirement at Catherine’s Collectibles shop. She volunteered driving neighbors to appointments, did crafts, handiwork, reading, and crossword puzzles. She traveled and took tours visiting with friends and family throughout the United States. Adeline is preceded by her parents; brothers: Eugene, Ambrose, and Gerald Ahmann, sisters: Constance Helenbolt, and Elaine Nelson. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Lidgerwood, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
