Adeline Olerud Andvik, 96, (formerly of Kindred, ND) died March 11th, at the Evergreens in Moorhead, MN.

Adeline was born on October 24, 1915 to Willie and Tillie (Anderson) Bakko on the family farm, Walcott, ND.  Adeline married Chester Olerud on October 9, 1938 and they made their home on a farm near Kindred.  They moved to Kindred in 1961.  Adeline worked for various businesses in Kindred and retired from Cass County Electric.  Chester died on March 4th, 1972.  Adeline continued to live in Kindred and married Thorvald Andvik on November 29, 1980.  They lived on the Andvik farm, rural Kindred until Thorvald passed away and she returned to Kindred.  In 2003 she entered Evergreen Assisted Living in Fargo, ND, moving to the Moorhead Evergreens in 2010.

Adeline was active in her church, member of the Ladies Aid, Sons of Norway, and Kindred Senior Citizens.  Adeline loved to play cards, bingo and board games.  She was an avid gardener and took pride in her flower gardens.

Adeline is survived by her four children; Curtis (Kathy) Olerud, Fargo, ND; Janice Judisch, Fargo, ND; Arland (Susan) Olerud, West Fargo, ND' Linda (Larry) Bosse, Britton, SD. Stepsons; John (Connie) Andvik, Kindred, ND; Stan (Carol) Andvik, Fargo, ND.  11 grandchildren, Jeff Judisch, Mark (Michele) Olerud, Rick (Jana) Judisch, Jason (Jorie) Judisch, Shannon (David) Wegleitner, Sarah (Matt) Kirchmann, Greta (Bret) Roberts, Jennifer (Bill) Deutsch, Kurt Olerud, Brian Bosse, Kristi (Jeff) Ringuette, 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and 5 step grandchildren;  One sister Florence Tingum, Wyndmere, ND; sister-in-law Ethel Spelhaug, Wahpeton, ND; brother-in-law Archie Olerud, Fargo, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands; son-in-law Ron Judisch; brothers Henning, Alfred, Norris, Rueben, Bernard, Wilfred, Howard and sisters Ruby, Geoline Christensen, Olga Vigestad, and Myrtle Haugen.
