Adeline Nogowski Waclawik, 80 of Fargo died Thursday, October 02, 2008 at the Palliative Care Unit of MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Adeline was born on April 10, 1928 in Geneseo, North Dakota to Vincent and Luella (Christianson) Nogowski. The family moved to Fargo where Adeline attended St. Mary?s and Sacred Heart. She worked for Western Union in Chicago and then moved to San Francisco where she worked for Hill Brothers Coffee. She returned to Fargo and worked for Standard Oil in the regional office for six years. Adeline married Elvin J. Waclawik at St. Mary?s Cathedral on September 11, 1954 and has resided in Fargo ever since. Adeline is survived by her husband, Elvin of Fargo; children, Cindy (Randy) Prigelmeier of Fargo, Dan (Janet) Waclawik of Fargo, James (Sheila) Waclawik of Fergus Falls, MN, Tom (Nancy) Waclawik of West Fargo; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by: sister, Shirley Ekerberg, DeBary, Fla; brother, Al (Bud) Nogowski, Hugo, Mn; sister, Carol Polk, St. Paul, Mn; sister-in-law, Delores Waclawik, Overland Park, Ks; sister-in-law, Dorothy Waclawik, Mesa, Az; sister-in-law, Delores Nogowski, Clarkston, Wa; brother and sister-in-law, John and Virginia Waclawik, Mesa, Az; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Mary Waclawik, Mesa, Az;. Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Luella (Christianson) Nogowski; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and June Nogowski; brother-in-law, Ed (John) Nogowski; brother and sister-in-law Vince jr. and Lila Nogowski; brother-in-law, Edward Waclawik; brother-in-law, Peter Waclawik; brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Wilma Waclawik; brother-in-law, Richard Ekerberg. Visitation: Sunday, October 5 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and one hour prior to Mass at the church on Monday. Prayer Service: Sunday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass: Monday, October 6 at 2:30 pm at Church of the Nativity, Fargo. Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo
