The Funeral Mass for Agatha Lauer will be held 10:30 Friday, March 28, 2003, at the Church of the Nativity in Fargo. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 - 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM in Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Friday. Agatha died peacefully at her home on Monday, March 24, 2003, at the age of 81. Agatha Jagielski was born on January 27, 1922, in Elk River, Minnesota, the daughter of Bernard and Thecka (Landowski) Jagielski. She grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and graduated from Cathedral High School, St. Cloud, MN. Agatha was united in marriage to Jerome R. Lauer on June 2, 1949, in St. Cloud. They briefly lived in the Minneapolis area before moving to Fargo in the early 1950's. Jerome died on August 10, 1992. Agatha was a charter member of Nativity Church in Fargo where she attended Mass daily. She loved to spend time with her family and to play bridge with friends. She was a long time volunteer at Elim Nursing Home in Fargo. Agatha is survived by her children, Jayne (Victor) Beraun of Bowling Green, Kentucky; Gerald (Karen) Lauer of Fargo; Keith (Terri) Lauer of Bismarck, North Dakota; Philip Lauer of Fargo; Ruth LeNoue of Barnesville, Minnesota; and Brian (Joanne) Lauer of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota; and her 16 grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, Sylvester Jagielski of Rogers, Minnesota; and her sisters, Sr. Anna Mary Jagielski of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Lorraine Picard of Shoreview, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.
